This replica of a late medieval two-handed sword, suitable for show combat, is made entirely by hand. The straight crossguard and pommel are made of iron. The spring steel blade, oil-hardened to approx. 48-50 HRC, extends through to the pommel and is bolted there. The handle is wrapped with leather strap and wire. The blade has a pronounced fuller, which gives the sword great elasticity and lightness at the same time. The tip of the blade and the cutting edges are blunt and rounded.
The sword comes with a leather-covered wooden scabbard, which is fitted with simple mouth plates and chape plates.
