This fully battle-worthy replica is modeled on the helmet worn by Sir Richard Pembridge. The original dates from around 1370 and is now in the Royal Scottish Museum in Edinburgh
The so-called great helmets were widespread throughout Europe and were often worn over a smaller, lighter helmet (e.g. Hirnhaube). Numerous contemporary illustrations (miniatures) and finds from Germany, Flanders, England, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, etc. prove the popularity of this type of helmet. These helmets were used at the Battle of Crecy (1346) and Poitiers (1356), among others
The helmet has a comfortable leather liner and a chin strap with a brass buckle

Très joli heaume assurant une protection intégrale pour les reproductions de combat, je recommande juste une cale matelassé pour protéger le visage lors des coups reçus.
Sinon je suis fier du résultat et de la livraison rapide.
