This fully battle-worthy replica of a visorless helmet from the High Middle Ages was often worn underneath a pot helmet or visored helmet or simple textile headgear during tournaments. These overhelming helmets were removed during "normal" battle or close combat. In this way, the head protection was retained with the largest possible field of vision.
Made from 2 mm thick steel. The two halves of the helmet are welded together. The edge of the helmet is drilled at the side and rear. This makes it easier to attach a chain mail.
An inexpensive show fighting helmet for beginners.
Includes a riveted, high-quality and adjustable leather inlay with chin strap.
Available in three different sizes (S, M and L).
