This very authentic reconstruction of a German Schaller is forged from 1.6 mm thick sheet steel and is therefore conditionally suitable for show combat.
The neck slats riveted to the helmet skull are movable and increase wearing comfort.
The visor is attached with beautiful, hand-forged cloverleaf rivets.
The movable visor can be locked in the lowest position by means of an attached spike.
The helmet has a comfortable leather inlay and a solid chin strap with buckle.
The late medieval Schaller helmet type was usually worn together with a matching helmet bard or neck guard.
