Crusader disc pommel sword

Replica of a high medieval single-handed sword with typical disk pommel. This type of sword was already used by the Normans and was used shortly afterwards in the Crusades to liberate the Holy Land.
This sword is handcrafted. The crossguard and pommel are made of iron. The blade is continuous up to the pommel and hand-riveted there. The handle is wrapped in leather. The blade has a pronounced fuller, which gives the sword great elasticity and lightness at the same time. The edge of the blade is not sharpened.
The sword comes with a very beautiful and authentic-looking wooden leather scabbard with a wooden hanger as a belt loop (for belts up to 5 cm wide).

This is the regular version of the Crusader disc pommel sword.
The same sword is also available in a version suitable for show combat, with a blunt blade and rounded tip: item no. MB0116695106.
