Medieval disc pommel daggers were mostly used by knights, unhorsed mercenaries and archers as a secondary weapon. The crossguard has cut-outs on both sides in the shape of a three-leaf clover.
The blade of this replica, which is suitable for show fighting, is forged from spring steel and goes through to the pommel, where it is invisibly screwed on. The beautifully shaped wooden handle is wrapped in leather. The dagger has a solid crossguard and a round pommel made of forgeable cast iron. The blade is oil-hardened to approx. 48 HRC, the tip is rounded and the edges are blunt. The dagger is therefore suitable for light exhibition fighting.
A matching, leather-covered wooden scabbard with a metal plate is included.
