Valhalla throwing axe from Condor
The axe head of the Condor Tool & Knife Valhalla throwing axe is made of forged 1060 carbon steel and is heat-treated and annealed to a Rockwell hardness of approx. 50-55 Rockwell.
The natural finish is a bright metal look that gives the axe this unique look. This finish is a perfected process of hand hammering and gives an already well-crafted tool a classic and enhanced look.
The craftsmen at Condor use hand-operated equipment to achieve this traditional pattern to make it look like it was hand-forged over 200 years ago.
The axe blade is solidly forged and the hickory shaft is sturdy! However, we cannot guarantee the shaft in the event of breakage. A replacement handle is available from any DIY store.
The burnt-in handle made of American hickory is robust and gives the axe an antique look. The included scabbard is made of high-quality, durable, handcrafted brown leather.
