the plate bracers are made of steel to protect the wrist, back of the hand and forearm in combat without compromising maneuverability. Each glove consists of three overlapping plates connected by a sturdy but flexible leather strap. The 10 cm wide hand plate and the short bracer are forged from 1 mm thick steel. The bracer is 11 cm wide at the wrist and increases to 20 cm around the forearm. The upper 11 cm wide plate is made of thicker 1.5 mm steel, which is shaped so that it does not stick uncomfortably to the rotating wrists.
The plate bracers fit comfortably over your own leather gloves and are fastened with leather straps around the palm, thumb and wrist.
