This simple, robust mace with a rectangular shaft and grooved head in the shape of a ball or bulb is inspired by historical models from the 16th/17th century. It was forged from carbon steel and is equipped with a stitched leather grip and a leather wrist strap.

This special striking weapon, which was primarily developed as a powerful weapon to smash plate armor, is sometimes referred to as the turkish mace mace. However, this type of mace was not only widely used by the Ottomans, but was also very popular in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and India. In terms of design, the many shapes and patterns ranged from minimalist and functional (mostly designed for combat) to richly decorated and elaborate (designed more for ceremonial purposes or as a badge of rank).
