The morning star was a striking weapon frequently used in the Middle Ages.
It consisted of a sturdy wooden handle with a wooden or iron ball at the end. This ball was studded with spikes, also made of wood or iron. The head of the morning star came in many different shapes.
This morning star has a wooden handle that is partially wrapped in leather.
Instead of a fixed ball, two balls hang from chains.
