Decorative Franziska with a heavy, hand-forged axe blade made of carbon steel.
Precursors of the Franziska were already used in the late Roman army. There are countless finds from the Alemannic settlement areas, from the south of England and mainly in the Frankish kingdom of the Merovingians.
The axe blade is solidly forged. However, we cannot accept any liability for the attached shaft. A wooden shaft made of ash wood should be used for throwing practice and work, which is available at any DIY store.
Any breakage of the shaft fitted on delivery does not constitute grounds for complaint.
