Short sax with horn grip

This sax is a beautiful reconstruction of a typical early medieval
short sax knife, which was popular with various Germanic tribes (not just the Saxe).
These saxes were not used exclusively as weapons, but also or even predominantly
as cutting, carving and cutting knives.

The guard consists of two steel disks that fix the
decorated horn plate with two rivets. The handle is also made of horn and the
pommel is made of steel.
The blade is not sharpened!

The sax knife is supplied with the brown leather sheath shown.
