A flying raven as an amulet for wisdom, strength and courage
Ravens are black celestial apparitions and are always at the forefront of many European cultures. The Vikings associated them with Odin (Huginn and Muninn). An old Norse name for raven is "hrafn". Ragnar Lodbrok wore a raven called Reafen on his crown. The Celts also had ravens in leading positions. They are associated with the goddesses Badb and Morrigan.
