Gambeson with buckles natural

A gambeson is almost indispensable for exhibition and free combat.
The gambeson, also known as a gambison, doublet or aketon, was worn underneath plate and chain armor in the Middle Ages.
It made these steel armors more comfortable to wear and could also absorb blows from opponents, thus reducing the risk of injury.

This gambeson is made from several layers of fabric: an outer layer of sturdy, robust cotton canvas, two layers of wool padding and a soft cotton lining
