In the Middle Ages, tunics were worn by many crusaders over their armor, often in combination with a matching cloak. The cross, which identified the knight as fighting for the liberation of Jerusalem, was of course intended to attract attention. The cut and material are authentically based on historical models. The cross is located on the left above the heart. The tunic is slit at the front and back.
