Viking shoes for the period 800-1100 AD.

Viking half-boot replica made after a find from Haithabu.
As is typical for Viking shoes, the sole is raised in a triangular shape at the heel. The special feature is the elaborate toggle fastening with 4 leather buttons.

The upper leather and sole are made from vegetable-tanned, natural cowhide.

The sole is attached using a very sturdy nail-through method.

Upper material: approx. 2.5 mm thick cowhide
Sole: approx. 7 mm thick cowhide
