Viking half boots made of high-quality waxed nubuck leather.
The boots are based on original finds from Haithabu. Contrary to the finds (thin leather sole), the boots are fitted with a rubber sole, as this is more slip-resistant, more comfortable and more practical.
The ankle width can be adjusted at the side with two leather straps, which are fastened with leather toggles.
Thanks to the waxed layer, the typical patina that develops on oiled leather is formed. When the boots are worn, the leather expands slightly and adapts naturally to the shape of the foot and ankle. During use, the leather lightens at the stretching, scratching and creasing points. This effect is characteristic of the type of leather used (and intentional) and gives the Viking boot a particularly rustic touch.
The rubber sole is approx. 8 mm thick with a heel of approx. 8 mm.
Care instructions
To smooth out scratches, it is usually sufficient to rub the leather with a dry or slightly damp cloth. This rubs away the layer of grease. The leather works well with colorless leather grease and can be rubbed in with a soft cloth for larger color stains. The additional leather grease darkens the leather slightly and makes it particularly supple.
NOTE: Please always try out shoes on carpeted floors! This will prevent signs of wear on the soles.
