It is said that the veil to the spirit world is particularly permeable on this night. This incense is said to help lift the veil and make contact with our ancestors.

The incense mixture is used to cleanse the atmosphere and create a protective shield to prevent all kinds of other creatures from slipping through.

We know of eight major festivals of the Celts.
4 sun and 4 moon festivals.
The sun festivals were the equinox and the shortest day or the longest day. The lunar festivals were always in the middle of the solar festivals. Their festivals were intense and full of joie de vivre, but also characterized by deep respect for the changing conditions of nature.
It nourishes our soul and strengthens our connection to nature and the cosmos if we are able to tune in to these natural processes again.
