Half boot with toggle and rubber sole in dark brown.

This early medieval half boot is made of robust leather and has a modern rubber sole. Except for the sole, the shoe is true to the original medieval boots.
Unlike leather soles, a rubber sole wears through less quickly and is therefore more durable!

The vegetable-tanned upper leather is very supple and robust!

Original finds of these medieval shoes can be found in many museums, dating back to around 1100-1450.

If you want to wear the shoes with insoles or thick socks, you should choose the "regular" shoe size. Then you should have enough room for socks and insoles. However, if you do not want to use an insole or only want to wear thin socks, we recommend choosing one size smaller than street shoes.

Due to the handmade nature of the shoes, there may be slight variations in color from the picture.
Each shoe is therefore unique and a suitable addition to any medieval costume.
