Drinking Horn made from real horn. The special feature: The horn is untreated on the outside, i.e. not sanded smooth and polished. The horn is natural on the outside and therefore rough, uneven, cracked and not polished to a shiny finish, but naturally matt. Inside, the Drinking Horn is hollowed, cleaned and painted with a food-safe glaze, so that it can be used as a drinking horn without hesitation.

Our Drinking Horns and Calling Horns come mainly from cattle from Nigeria and India. The African horns come from Watussi cattle, among others, are large and have different colors and grains, while the Indian horns are smaller and less colorful. The horns are by-products of meat and leather production.
The horns are exported hollowed out to Germany. Here they are cleaned in an experienced German family business, sanded and polished on the outside and coated (only on the inside) with a food-safe varnish. This means that they comply with all food safety regulations and can be used without hesitation. Their safety has been tested, confirmed and certified by the German test laboratory.
As Drinking Horns are natural products, no two horns are the same. Differences in shape and color are unavoidable and make each horn unique.
The sizes are not exact but approximate.
To care for the horns: Please do not put them in the dishwasher, but rinse them with warm (not boiling hot) water immediately after use. Do not fill with acidic drinks (e.g. lemon juice).

- J'ai commandé la corne de 0.3l, elle peut contenir jusqu'à 0.35l, elle est tous de même très grande, c'est pourquoi j'ai pris cette taille. Il est impératif d'acheter un support pour la corne qui n'est pas fourni avec. La corne est très très brute, on dirait qu'elle vient d'être fraîchement coupées, c'est ce qui fait le charme du produit, attendez vous à quelque-chose de rustique. A savoir que la corne aura une légère odeur, mais ca ne donnera pas de goût à ce que vous buvez. Je suis donc très satisfait du produit.
- Elle est juste magnifique et cela donne un effet authentique.

Ich würde mich immer wieder für ein unbehandeltes Horn entscheiden...

- Es wurde eigentlich schon alles gesagt...So ein rohes Horn ist einfach unglaublich schön. Hätten Hörner Gefühle, wäre mein altes (poliertes) Horn nun sehr eifersüchtig!
- Ich kann mich meinen Vorgängern nur anschließen, dass Horn ist einfach super schön. Gerade seine Natürlichkeit, macht seine Besonderheit aus. Einfach toll.
- Die Einfachheit und Individualität dieses rohen Hornes stellt es in meinen Augen vor alle geschliffenen Hörner. Es sieht einfach nur klasse aus!

Ich kann nicht verstehen wie man etwas anderes außer den rohen Hörnern kaufen kann.
Auf der letzten Feier regnete es Bewunderung obgleich der Schönheit dieses Horns bzw. der naturbelassenheit.
Es ist INNEN behandelt wie beschrieben, nur die äußere Schicht ist einfach unangetastet.
Ich liebe es und bedanke mich für mein neuste Errungenschaft sowie mein erstes eigenes Trinkhorn.
