A bishop's collaris a collar made of chain mail that covers the neck, shoulders and upper chest and back. It was particularly popular with lansquenets of the 15th and 16th centuries. The name bishop's collar is due to its shape: The collar of a bishop was cut very wide,so was very similar to this chain armor.

The chain collar is jagged at the edge. The neck area is riveted to a leather strip and can be adjusted using straps and authentic late medieval brass buckles.

This braid of unriveted chain rings is made of high-quality spring steel. The braiding is 4 in 1.
This type of braiding is called BTW ( Butted Tensile Wire).
The rings are untreated, so they can rust, but give the braiding an authentic appearance.

- Unriveted round rings made of spring steel
- Fully shoulder-covering
- Serrated edge
- Inner diameter: approx. 8 mm
- Ring thickness: approx. 1.6 mm wide edge
- Finish: untreated (lightly oiled)
