A padded collar is almost indispensable for exhibition and free combat. It was worn under plate and chain armor in the Middle Ages and increases the comfort of your armor.
The Ulfberth collar is made of three layers of fabric: an outer layer of cotton fabric (canvas), a padding layer made of polyester and a cotton lining.
The quilting is diamond-shaped, which ensures maximum comfort as the collar remains very flexible. The collar is pulled over the head and fastened at the center front with a band of netting.
The high collar increases the wearing comfort of armour or chain mail on the neck enormously.
