Scutum for LARP 100 cm

The scutum, also known as the tower shield, was part of the protective armament of the legionaries of the Roman army. It was also commonly used as equipment for gladiators in single combat.

The shield is made of EVA hard foam and painted in red and gold, the black-painted edge is additionally decorated with embossed rivets. The shield boss is painted black and also has decorative rivets. The shield has a central handle on the back and can be carried with either the right or left hand.

We recommend the use of silicone spray to give the weapon the best possible care and increase its service life. To maintain the protective coating, LARP weapons should be protected from extreme and prolonged exposure to sunlight and heavy soiling should be removed with water.
