Helmet Kaspar burnished

The "Kaspar" helmet is a classic balaclava from the equestrian armor of the mid-16th to mid-17th century.
The cheek flaps are closed in front of the face with a leather strap and have holes to prevent hearing loss.
The deep black burnished surfaces and the contrasting bright edges of the burnished version visually enhance the "Kaspar" series.
Following the example of German cavalry armour from the mid-16th to mid-17th century, the burnished finish is interrupted by bright parts.
This makes the armour appear even more massive.
