Chain hood with triangular mouth guard

The BMSB chain mesh consists of round, unriveted rings. The
surface of the rings is blackened (burnished) and therefore offers light
protection against corrosion.

The chain mail hood is hand-woven 4 in 1.

This chain mail hood completely covers the shoulder and is provided with the authentic
square history cutout. In addition, the hood has a
hinged, triangular mouthguard to which leather straps
are sewn on the sides. The mouthguard is lightly padded on the inside and trimmed with leather
. This type of chain mail hood was particularly popular in the High Middle Ages (e.g. with
Normans, crusaders).

We recommend wearing a waistband hood under the chain mail hood.
