Balthasar belt shield blank

Made from 1.2 mm thick steel, the belt plate can be painted with the color of a coat of arms, rank insignia or symbols to show group affiliation. Matching the "Balthasar" series, the belt plate is also decorated with rivets and a contrasting edge. It is attached to the belt with two sturdy leather loops and can, of course, also be worn as a small leg pouch as an additional piece of armor.

Before painting, we recommend cleaning the shield thoroughly with acetone. The surface should then be lightly roughened with fine sandpaper (600 grit). For priming, we recommend using car paint in the desired base color from the spray can. Once the primer has dried, the surface should be roughened again with the sandpaper and a second coat of paint applied. Now details such as heraldic animals or lettering can be added with weatherproof acrylic paint.
