Our Drinking Horns and Calling Horns come mainly from cattle from Nigeria and India. The African horns come from Watussi cattle, among others, are large and have different colors and grains, while the Indian horns are smaller and less colorful. The horns are by-products of meat and leather production.
The horns are exported hollowed out to Germany. Here they are cleaned in an experienced German family business, sanded and polished on the outside and coated (only on the inside) with a food-safe varnish. This means they comply with all food safety regulations and can be used without hesitation. Their safety has been tested, confirmed and certified by the German test laboratory.
As Drinking Horns are natural products, no two horns are the same. Differences in shape and color are unavoidable and make each horn unique.
The sizes are not exact but approximate.
To care for the horns: Please do not put them in the dishwasher, but rinse them with warm (not boiling hot) water immediately after use. Do not fill with acidic drinks (e.g. lemon juice).

Das Horn ist Klasse, genauso hab ich es mir vorgestellt. Ein schönes kleines Hörnchen zum gemütlichen trinken. Werde mir auf jeden Fall noch mehr bestellen.

Avis assez partagé : en ayant reçu une vraiment splendide en cadeau l'année dernière, j'ai voulu rendre la pareille cette année. Sauf que la corne reçue cette fois malgré une contenance identique, est plus petite (ça je suis d'accord c'est aléatoire!) mais surtout très très fine au point d'avoir un rendu un peu "gadget plastique" comparée à la mienne. Dommage, je savais qu'elles pouvaient être différentes mais là on passe du sublime à un aspect un peu jouet ...
Mis à part ça, toujours très satisfait du site.
- Goldiges Hörnchen. Genau wie ichs mir vorgestellt hab. Ich hab schon ein großes für Bier - und das ist jezt für Wein. Versand ging wie immer super schnell und die Ware ist top verarbeitet. Ist übrigens auch ne tolle Geschenkidee (vielleicht mit nem Fläschchen Hypokras dabei).
