Artful replica of a Viking bone comb made entirely by hand from real bone.
Combs made of bone and horn were already widespread in Celtic and Roman times and were used by Germanic tribes and Vikings for daily beard and hair care right up to the Middle Ages.
This replica of a bone comb is based on an original historical find from the Swedish Viking Age around 900 AD.
Dimensions: 12 x 4 x 1 cm.
The individual parts of the bone comb are carefully glued together and firmly connected with bronze rivets.
