This divisible Viking couple pendant shows a pair of lovers kissing. It can be divided in the middle - so each partner can wear one half of the pendant around their neck.
The historical model is a so-called "Guldgubbe" (figurative gold plates from the Iron Age, found exclusively in Scandinavia) and was found on the Danish island of Bornholm. The first pendants in this style were created in the Germanic Iron Age from around 375 and continued to be used until the Viking Age - their peak was in the Vendel period between 550 and 800 AD.
