Note on Drinking Horn care: Our drinking horns and calling horns come mainly from cattle from Nigeria and India. The African horns come from Watussi cattle, among others, are large and have different colors and grains, while the Indian horns are smaller and less colorful. The horns are by-products of meat and leather production.
The horns are exported hollowed out to Germany. Here they are cleaned in an experienced German family business, sanded and polished on the outside and coated (only on the inside) with a food-safe varnish. This means that they comply with all food safety regulations and can be used without hesitation. Their safety has been tested, confirmed and certified by the German test laboratory.

As Drinking Horns are natural products, no two horns are the same. Differences in shape and color are unavoidable and make each horn unique.
