Decorated with the Vegvisir (also known as the Viking compass), this Drinking Horn is a great gift idea not just for Viking fans!

You will receive: 1 Drinking Horn 0.5 l with Vegvisir engraving (color of your choice) + matching Drinking Horn stand + 1 bottle of mead "Lieblich" 0.75 l (alcohol content mead 10.5 % vol.)
Three color options are available: natural (unpainted), red or white. The red and white colors are created by tracing the fire engraving with acrylic varnish.

The Vegvísir is a symbol that originates from the Icelandic magic tradition of the Galdrastafir. It can be found as a symbol with a concrete representation in the Huld manuscript from the 19th century. Also known as the Viking compass, it is a symbol of protection that helps you to always find your way back and return home safely.

Each engraving is branded by hand by our branding artist using a special tool, making your Drinking Horn absolutely unique.
As a natural product, each Drinking Horn is also different, so our item image is only an example. To care for the horns: please do not put in the dishwasher, but rinse with warm (not boiling hot) water immediately after use. Do not fill with acidic drinks (e.g. lemon juice). Please do NOT soak engraved horns in dishwater or rub them with a sponge - this will cause the engraving to fade.

Drinking Horn made from real horn
Our drinking horns and calling horns come mainly from cattle from Nigeria and India. The African horns come from Watussi cattle, among others, are large and have different colors and grains, while the Indian horns are smaller and less colorful. The horns are by-products of meat and leather production.
The horns are exported hollowed out to Germany. Here they are cleaned in an experienced German family business, sanded and polished on the outside and coated (only on the inside) with a food-safe varnish. This means that they comply with all food safety regulations and can be used without hesitation. Their safety has been tested, confirmed and certified by the German test laboratory.

As Drinking Horns are natural products, no two horns are the same. Differences in shape and color are unavoidable and make each horn unique.
The sizes are not exact specifications, but approximate dimensions.

Please note that you must be at least 16 years old to purchase this item.
