Pantaloons, better known as tights, have been around since the beginning of the 15th century.
Before that, people mostly wore leg warmers, although stockings and pants were sometimes sewn together much earlier.
Medieval pantaloons are made of pure, elastic cotton, which is beautifully soft and particularly comfortable to wear. An elastic drawstring in the waistband guarantees that the medieval pantaloons fit securely, and there is a loop at the end of each leg to replace the wider foot, which is obligatory for tights, and prevent the pantaloons from riding up. An extremely comfortable garment!
