Robust semi-circular high medieval cowhide pouch decorated with medieval fittings and a metal strap end. This bag was inspired by a historical find: a well-preserved belt bag was found during an excavation in the former well of the Runneburg castle in Weißensee (Thuringia). It was made of goatskin and the buckles were made of bone.
Dimensions:
13 x 20 cm (with belt loops 17 x 20 cm).
There are two leather loops on the back of the belt pouch that are suitable for belts up to 7 cm wide.
