Waistband cap made of lined cotton fabric - in black or green, can be tied with a ribbon. The green one has a natural-colored lining. Such hoods were often the only headgear in the Middle Ages, they protected against the sun's rays and vermin, which is where the popular name "flea hood" comes from.
