Viking tunic with herringbone pattern blue L

This knee-length tunic is made of sturdy cotton fabric with a woven herringbone pattern and contrasting canvas details.
The round neckline has a slit at the center front and can be worn open or closed with a brooch.
The tunic has a straight cut and the slits at the side seams allow for freedom of movement.

The cut and appearance of the tunic correspond to the garments of the early Middle Ages in Northern Europe.
Knee-length outer garments are typical of this era, with simple cuts, mainly composed of rectangles, and simple trimmings.
The simple cut is documented by archaeological finds . These were found, for example, in Bernuthsfeld (8th century) and Thorsberg (4th century).
There is also a great deal of archaeological evidence for fabrics with a herringbone pattern, e.g. from Haithabu and Birka.

The tunic is perfect for all Norsemen. We recommend a ring belt for an authentic overall look.
