Imperialis lansquenet doublet red-black L

Two-tone doublet with long sleeves in lansquenet style. The doublet is fastened with five laces with leather straps at the front. The fabric is quilted throughout and therefore relatively stiff.

All lansquenet items in the IMPERIALIS series can be combined with each other and offer a wide range of options for a customized lansquenet outfit! All parts are connected to each other by nesting straps and holes.

Landsknechts were quite a wild bunch and expressed their boldness through this extravagant style of dress with puffed and slit shirts and pants. However, it is no longer clear exactly how the typical Landsknecht fashion came about, but it is assumed that Landsknechts in the late 15th century slashed their tight clothing because it hindered them in battle. Incidentally, the more colorful and imposing, the better!
