A cloak was part of every basic outfit in the Middle Ages and protected ordinary citizens from wind and weather. It was available in many different lengths, with and without a hood and in different cuts. There were various ways to fasten the cloak: Fibulae, chains, ribbons or, later, buttons.

Our cloak is cut long and is closed with a wooden button and a loop. It is made of simple cotton and has a hood.

Please note: The cotton fabric is not water-repellent, but can be treated with a waterproofing spray to keep out light rain.
