The loosely cut medieval dress has gores inserted at the sides and is floor-length. Geren are wedge-shaped pieces of fabric that gave the garment its generous hemline in the Middle Ages.
The gathered neckline is modeled on an archaeological fragment from Pskov (also Pleskau), Russia, which belongs to a Viking dress dated to the 10th century. It has a slit in the center front and can be adjusted with a ribbon. The sleeve hems can also be gathered with ribbons.
The children's dress is made from plain cotton fabric and can be worn as an underdress or overdress.
Please note: Only the dress is sold here! The accessories are available separately in our online store.
