Floral wreath pink

Young girls in particular wove flowers into their wreaths as a decorative element. The Germanic tribes already wore them in their hair as decoration for high holidays or seasonal changes. With the spread of Christianity and the suppression or reinterpretation of pagan holidays, the significance of the flower wreath was lost again in Europe.
