A bastard sword is a sword that is longer than a one-handed sword. They are usually one-and-a-half-handed swords, i.e. one-and-a-half-handed swords.
This reconstruction was made entirely by hand. The straight, twisted crossguard and the pommel are made of iron. The blade is continuous up to the pommel, where it is screwed together. The handle is wrapped in leather. The blade has a pronounced fuller, which gives the sword great elasticity and lightness at the same time. The edge of the blade is not sharpened.
The sword comes with a leather-covered wooden scabbard, which is fitted with simple mouth plates and chape plates.
