Autumn Equinox
Harvest festival. In earlier civilizations, it was about giving thanks to Mother Earth for all the nourishing gifts. It is a contemplative festival.
This incense is intended to strengthen our gratitude for all the gifts we have received. Spicy herbs are returned to nature.
Contents: sage, pine resin, mugwort, rosemary, camomile, thyme and others.
Annual festivals
The Celts are known to have eight major festivals.
4 sun and 4 moon festivals.
The sun festivals were the equinox and the shortest day and the longest day. The lunar festivals were always in the middle of the solar festivals. Their festivals were intense and full of joie de vivre, but also characterized by deep respect for the changing conditions of nature.
It nourishes our soul and strengthens our connection to nature and the cosmos if we are able to tune in to these natural processes again.
Honouring what supports and surrounds us every day with respect. In this day and age with electric light and central heating; with the hectic pace of our daily lives, there is a great danger that we no longer feel the rhythm of nature, the power of the sun and the moon and the magic of a change of sun or moon. Everything runs smoothly, without ups and downs, without the wonderful magic that surrounds us.
