This elegantly curved medieval ladle is forged by hand from iron and carefully treated with vegetable oil.
Ladles like this were an indispensable item in every household in the Middle Ages, as daily meals consisted mainly of soups, stews and groats.
A forged ladle like this one is therefore an ideal companion for historical everyday and camp life in LARP and medieval re-enactment.
The handle of the ladle is nicely twisted and forged into a hook at the end.
This makes it easy to hang the ladle anywhere - this saves space but is also good for the ladle, which is made of rustproof iron and should therefore be protected from moisture.
The medieval iron ladle measures 39 x 9 cm and is 3 cm deep.


In Germany, legislation requires food certification in accordance with the Foodstuffs and Commodities Act (LFBG) for use with foodstuffs.
However, this is very expensive and would have a negative impact on the low sales price. We therefore only offer this forged ladle as a prop, which is not certified for use with food, at least by definition.
