Please rub with hot vegetable oil (tasteless) BEFORE first use, leave to soak overnight and rub off excess vegetable oil. Repeat this treatment occasionally. Wood is a natural material and can crack under extreme conditions. For this reason, do not leave the item in water for a long time or even put it in the dishwasher, but clean it thoroughly all over with warm water and possibly scouring powder. Then rinse thoroughly, stand upright and leave to air dry. Enjoy!
