The horn cup is engraved with the Vegvisir symbol, which is also known as the runic compass and is regarded as a symbol of protection and good luck. An Icelandic script reads:

"If that symbol is carried, the bearer shall not be lost in storm or wind, even if the path ahead is unknown".

The horn cups are a natural product that always varies in color. In addition to the characteristic black color, there are also horn cups in shades of white or brown.

Please note that horn items are natural products and no two horn mugs are the same! Differences in shape and color are therefore unavoidable. The sizes are not exact, but only approximate. All illustrations are examples only!

Care of the horn mugs: Please do not put in the dishwasher, but rinse with warm (not boiling hot) water immediately after use. Do not fill with acidic drinks (e.g. lemon juice).
