Octagon folding sundial with compass

Elegant folding sundial with wooden compass.

To determine the time using the sun, you need to know the latitude of the place where you are currently located.
Then set the thread to the scale marked in the vertical quadrant.
Then point the watch to the south and align the compass needle with the "N" marked on the compass rose.

The sundial must be in a horizontal position with both quadrants forming a straight angle.
Once this is done, the thread casts a shadow indicating the time of the sun, to which the difference in official time (UTC/GMT) must be added or subtracted.
